Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan expecting their second child, couple confirms the news

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have taken the internet by a storm after announcing that they are expecting their second child together. The couple announced the good news on a very special day.

In fact, it has turned out to be a double celebration day for Saif Ali Khan and his family. Why, you ask? Well, Sara Ali Khan turned 25 and is celebrating her birthday today. Doubling up the joy is the announcement of Kareena's pregnancy.

Exactly 25 years ago, Saif Ali Khan embraced fatherhood for the first time as his then wife Amrita Singh gave birth to Sara Ali Khan. Saif Ali Khan is going to be a father for the fourth time now.

Earlier today, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan released a statement, which



read, "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena."

Saif and Kareena tied the knot in October 2012. They welcomed their first child Taimur in December 2016. Soon after giving birth to Taimur, Kareena returned to work and shot for Rhea Kapoor's film Veere Di Wedding.

As for Sara, she shared glimpses from her birthday celebrations on Instagram. The Simmba actress is currently on a getaway with her family. She took to her Instagram stories to share pictures from her late night birthday celebrations.
