Kareena Kapoor ignores Karan Johar’s question about Ameesha Patel on Koffee with Karan 8

The recent promo reveals some intriguing interactions, including a conversation about Kareena's past feud with actor Ameesha Patel, and Alia Bhatt's playful renaming of the show as 'Kontroversial with a K.'

The latest promo for the show teases an episode featuring Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor. The promo hints at Karan Johar grilling Kareena Kapoor about her absence from the Gadar 2 success party due to her 'history' with Ameesha Patel. Karan asks Kareena, "Why didn't you attend the Gadar party? You and Ameesha Patel have such a history," to which the 'Laal Singh Chaddha' actor says,



"What history? I'm ignoring Karan, as you all can see."

The actors also engage in a playful debate about their familial ties, with Kareena Kapoor refuting the label of 'bhabhi'(sister-in-law).

For the unversed, Kareena was supposed to be a part of 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai'. Earlier this year, Ameesha had shared that director Rakesh Roshan had asked Kareena to leave the film due to differences.

Kareena's latest film, 'The Buckingham Murders', opened the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, while Alia received the National Award for Best Actress for her role in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and made her Hollywood debut with Netflix's 'Heart of Stone'.
