'Laapataa Ladies' to be screened at Supreme Court premises after court hours

Kiran’s Rao directorial, ‘Laapataa Ladies’ will be screened at the Supreme Court of India tomorrow, August 9. The director herself, along with producer Aamir Khan, will also be present at the screening and they will also be interacting with the audience.

As per a notice, the Chief Justice of India will also be present, and the judges will be attending with their spouses. The film will be screened from 4:15 pm to 6:20 pm, after the court hours, followed by an



interaction with Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.

The notice read, “As part of the activities organised during the seventy-fifth year of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India, the movie 'Laapataa Ladies' which is based on the theme of gender equality, will be screened on Friday, 9 August 2024 in the Auditorium, C- Block, Administrative Building Complex. Ms. Kiran Rao, who has directed the movie, and Mr. Aamir Khan, Producer, will also be present during the screening.”
