'Love Story' actor Ryan O'Neal dies at 82

Oscar nominated veteran actor Ryan O'Neal died on Friday, December 8. The actor, well known for his roles in 'Love Story', 'Barry Lyndon' and 'Paper Moon', was 82 when he breathed his last. The news was broken to the world by his son, Patrick, who informed about his father's death through an Instagram post.

latter took to Instagram on December 8 and wrote a long post, remembering his father.

Along with the picture of a sunset, Patrick wrote, "So this is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to say but here we go. My dad passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us. This is very difficult for my wife Summer and I, but I will share some feelings to give you an idea of how great a man he is (sic)."
