Mahira Khan gives a befitting reply to people who slammed her for a picture with Ranbir Kapoor

A few days back, a picture of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan went viralon the internet. In the picture that took social media on storm, both were seen sitting together and smoking while Mahira wore a white dress. As soon as the picture went viral, people started slut-shaming the actress for wearing a backless piece and for smoking in public.

The actress has now come out and opened up on the matter and gave a befitting reply to all her haters. At a recent event Mahira was announced as the first Pakistani woman who has become the brand ambassador of L'Oreal Paris. In the same event she gave a special speech in which she gave the reply to her haters and said,"Through the times of turbulence,



through the joys, through the ups and downs, through the mistakes we make and all the success we get, let nobody... nobody's opinion define who you are, And if anybody defines who you are, let it be yourself. Because including me and all the women out there, we're all worth it!"

Not only this time, earlier too during the launch of her movie she gave an interview to a leading Pakistani channel and said, "It is my personal life and for a boy and a girl to hang out is considered pretty normal. This one incident has taught me a lot."

When the picture came out and people shamed the actress, Ranbir Kapoor, became quite disturbed with the entire incident, had also given a statement in support of the actress and said that she was being a victim of inequality.
