Malaika Arora shares first statement after father Anil Mehta's demise

Malaika Arora shared the first statement after her father, Anil Mehta's death. Mehta died on September 11 and police have called it a prima facie case of suicide. In the statement, Arora requested privacy during the difficult time.

The statement read, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this



difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”

Anil Mehta will be cremated tomorrow, September 12 at the Santa Cruz crematorium at 11 pm.

The police have said that Anil Mehta, who was aged 62, was found dead in Ayesha Manor, the building where Malaika Arora's family resides. (Trigger warning) He had jumped from the terrace on sixth floor and died by suicide. The investigations are currently underway.
