Malayalam director Vinu dies at 73 after brief illness

Malayalam director Vinu, who had collaborated with director Suresh and given some hit films, died on January 10. He was recently hospitalised in Coimbatore and died after suffering from a brief illness. He was 73.

According to PTI, Vinu was hospitalised for some abdomen-related ailments.

Employees Federation of Kerala) Director’s Union on their official Facebook page. Written in Malayalam, the note read, “Vinu (73), who was a part of the director duo Suresh and Vinu, passed away this morning at a hospital in Coimbatore. The first information is that he was admitted to the hospital on the previous day after being infected. (He)Was in the backstage activities of a psycho-thriller movie.”
