In an era where star power often comes with a hefty price tag, it’s refreshing to hear of actors making sacrifices for the sake of a project’s creative vision. Film producer Vinod Bhanushali recently shared that Bajpayee chose to significantly reduce his fees for 'Bhaiyya Ji'.

Bhanushali expressed his admiration and gratitude for Bajpayee’s gesture, highlighting it as a testament to the actor's dedication to his craft and the collaborative spirit of filmmaking.

"I told Manoj Bhai, that this is a more expensive film than 'Banda' because the director had informed me that he wants to make this film like the South films 'Jailer' and 'Vikram'. So, when I went to Manoj Bhai with the film, I told him if you charge your fee, I cannot afford it," says Bhanushal.

He added, "I told him you would have to come

down on your fee and could also become a producer. I can give you the producer's share, and he agreed. This is his 100th film, and he wanted it to be special, so we worked out our way."

Bhanushali said if Bajpayee had not agreed to reduce his fees for 'Bhaiyya Ji', the film's vision would have been 'compromised'.

"As a producer, I am happy that he understood because I wouldn't have been able to put money into the film, and the film's vision would be compromised. This Manoj Bhai understood, and that's how we made this film. We have one more film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and that film is ready. I told him to understand the market scenario and that the film we are making is a beautiful one. It will need that much budget to be made, but the buyers will give only this much money. So he also agreed and reduced his fee," Bhanushali told us.
