Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph to collaborate with Drishyam 3

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph will be getting back together for Drishyam 3. The duo's Drishyam and Drishyam 2 were blockbuster hits and were remade in multiple languages. On February 20, the Malaikottai Vaaliban actor announced the news with a photo of himself with Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor.

Sharing the post, he wrote, "The Past Never Stays Silent Drishyam 3 Confirmed! #Drishyam 3 (sic)." The post went



viral in no time with fans expressing their happiness.

Drishyam is a crime thriller that catapulted Malayalam cinema to a bigger league. The film was so successful that it was remade in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Sinhalese and even Chinese.

Eight years after Drishyam, the second part was released on Prime Video and managed to blow everyone's minds again. The film ended on a cliffhanger, leaving room for the third part.
