Monaz Mevawalla roped in to play Mrs Sodhi in TMKOC

Actor Monaz Mevawalla has joined the cast of the beloved Indian sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. She will play the role of Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi in the show. 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' has been a household favourite that continues to capture the hearts of its viewers with its unique storytelling. Jennifer Mistry, who previously essayed the role of Mrs Sodhi, quit the show in April this year due to a fallout with its makers.

The creator and producer of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', Asit Kumar Modi welcomed Monaz Mevawalla and even expressed his excitement about the same. He said, "We are delighted to have Monaz Mevawalla. We welcome her wholeheartedly to the TMKOC family. Her portrayal is anticipated

Monaz shared her views and thoughts on joining 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. She shared her enthusiasm and said that she is thrilled and proud to be a part of the family. Jennifer was a part of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' for the past 13 years. The show first aired in 2008 and has over 3900 episodes.
