MS Dhoni is not camera shy, will act in films if there’s a good script: Sakshi Dhoni

Sakshi Dhoni, wife of iconic Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has turned film producer with the upcoming Tamil film, LGM (Let’s Get Married). Produced under the banner Dhoni Entertainment, the film is directed by debutant Ramesh Thamilmani and stars Nadhiya, Harish Kalyan, Ivana, RJ Vijay and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. While speaking at a recent promotional event of the film in Chennai, Sakshi revealed that MS Dhoni is up for turning hero, but only if there is a good script.

asked if Dhoni could act as a leading man in a film, she said, “If there’s something good, he might do it. He is not camera-shy. He has been acting in advertisements since 2006, and he is not afraid of facing the camera. So, might do it if there’s something good.”

When asked about the genre, Sakshi imemdiately replied, “Action. He is always in action.” Meanwhile, LGM director Ramesh Thamilmani said, “He is a real-life superhero, and I would like to see him in a superhero film.”
