Noted Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale hospitalised, on life support

Renowned veteran actor Vikram Gokhale has been receiving treatment at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune for the past 15 days. However, it seems the actor is not seeing any improvement and his condition is deteriorating. According to ANI, his condition is critical. However, the doctors have firmly refused to provide any other details regarding the veteran actor's health, saying that his family will provide an update. 

Vikram Gokhale has contributed significantly to Indian cinema. The actor has starred in several films like Hum Dil De Chuke



Sanam, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, Bang Bang, Hichki, Mission Mangal and others. 

For the unversed, the veteran actor is the son of Chandrakant Gokhale, a Marathi theatrical performer and movie actor. In addition to acting, he has ventured in directing. In 2010, he made his directing debut with the Marathi movie Aaghaat. He has won a number of honours. For his acting in theatre, he received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2011. For his Marathi film Anumati, he took home the National Film Award for Best Actor in 2013. He is also a social activist.
