Oscars 2018: Sridevi, Shashi Kapoor Honoured In Memoriam Montage

This year the Hindi film industry lost two of its icons - Sridevi and Shashi Kapoor. The Academy honoured them in their ‘In Memoriam’ segment. This annual mash-up of cinema’s recently deceased is generally tinted in sepia and accompanied by



music.

This year, the song for the segment was Eddie Vedder’s ‘I got a room at the top of the world tonight.' It payed homage to Indian stars Sridevi and Shashi Kapoor in a lump-in-the-throat moment for many Indian audiences.
