While Anushka Sharma's Paatal Lok is receiving praises from all quarters, several complaints have been filed against the actress because of the series. A few days ago, a legal notice was issued to Anushka for hurting sentiments of the Gorkha community in a particular scene on the show.
Now a BJP MLA, Nandkishore Gurjar, has filed a complaint against the producer for using his photo in the show without his permission. The politician has demanded a case be filed against the actress under National
Security Act for causing communal stir.
Nandkishore Gurjar said that the series tries to malign the Bhartiya Janata Party's image. He also claimed that the series tries to create a terror-free image of Pakistan, which insults India in the world's eyes.
In his complaint, the MLA has demanded a case has to be registered against Anushka Sharma under the National Security Act for instigating communal stir. He also said that the Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok should be banned.
