Pankaj Tripathi begins shooting for Atal Bihari Vajpayee's biopic Main ATAL Hoon

Pankaj Tripathi surprised everyone when he shared his first look as former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee from the upcoming film, Main Atal Hoon. He perfectly resemble the former PM. The actor has now officially started shooting for the movie. Pankaj took to his Instagram account today, May 7, to share a picture from the first day of shoot.

Today, Pankaj Tripathi officially announced the filming of Main Atal Hoon. The movie will revolve around the life and political career of India’s beloved leader, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was not only a politician but also a poet, a gentleman and a statesman. Commencing the shoot in Mumbai, the team will have a long schedule of more than 45 days



covering different parts of our country like Mumbai and Lucknow.

Sharing pictures from the first day of shoot of the film, Pankaj wrote in Hindi, "I have got the opportunity to realize a great personality like 'Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji', I hope that I will do justice to this great personality! Filming begins for #MainATALHoon In cinemas December 2023 (sic)."

"Getting a chance to play the role of our great leader, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an honour in itself. We went through rigorous reading sessions, to understand the dialect, his lifestyle and his vision for India. I feel elated today as we begin shooting for Main ATAL Hoon,” shared Pankaj Tripathi in a statement.
