Actor Sitaram Panchal who starred in many Bollywood movies alongside Bollywood biggies like Akshay Kumar and many others passed away at the age of 54 due to Cancer. The actor was battling with lung and kidney Cancer from past many years and breathed his last yesterday. He was rushed to the hospital after he complained about restlessness where he passed away at 7 am.
The Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) shared a statement on their official Facebook page which reads, "With deep sorrow we express our heartfelt condolences and share the news about the sad demise of veteran artiste Shri Sitaram Panchal. May the Lord Almighty receive the departed soul with all his love and bless it with a place in his heavenly abode.
May the Almighty also give his family the strength, courage to bear this irreparable loss."
Earlier he reached out for help from fans through a Facebook post. He wrote, "Bhaio meri help karo meri cancer se halat kharab hoti ja rahi hai apka kalakar bhai Sitaram Panchal." Ashwini Chaudhary and Anil Kapoor came forward to help the actor and even urged the fans to contribute their part.
Sitaram Panchal is survived by his wife Uma and a son Rishabh. According to a leading daily, the couple celebrated their 26th anniversary on August 9. Sitaram has been a part of hit films like 'Peepli Live', Irrfan Khan's 'Paan Singh Tomar' and Akshay Kumar's 'Jolly LLB 2.'
