Satish Kaushik recently passed away after suffering a heart attack. His demise left his friends and family heartbroken. His friend, noted actor Anupam Kher has now revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter to the late director's wife and expressed his grief.

In it, he paid tribute to his work a personality. Satish Kaushik's wife said the letter 'worked as a balm' during these difficult times.

On Saturday, March 18, Anupam Kher shared a letter PM Modi wrote to Satish Kaushik's wife after his death. He shared a note from her in which she said it comforted her in these difficult times.

In the letter, PM Modi described Satish Kaushik as a 'multi-faceted personality' who laid a



strong foundation for his family.

"I was very sad hearing about Satish Kaushik's untimely death. In this difficult time, I extend my condolences to you and your family,” The late Satish Kaushik was a multi-faceted personality. He made immense contributions to Indian cinema with his talent. As a great writer, actor, filmmaker and producer, he worked in a variety of roles and impressed in each one," wrote Modi.

He went on to say that Satish Kaushik's values will live on through his family.

"He was inspirational and laid a strong foundation for his family. His loss cannot be expressed in words. He may not be in this world today, but his memories and values will live on through his family.," he wrote.
