The case of theft at the house of Agam Kumar Nigam, who is Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam’s father, has been solved by the Mumbai police. The accused has been arrested the accused from Kolhapur. He had stolen Rs 72 lakhs.
Mumbai Police have arrested the man who was accused of stealing Rs 72 lakhs from Sonu Nigam’s father, Agam Kumar Nigam. His name is Rehan. The man arrested was his former driver. The police also recovered Rs 70 lakh and 70 thousand from the accused.
It is to be noted that a theft
of 72 lakh rupees had occurred at Agam Nigam's house, after which he had registered a case at the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai.
Sonu Nigam's father, Agam Kumar Nigam, had earlier told the police that he suspected Rehan, who used to work as a driver. He suspected Rehan had entered the flat with a duplicate key and stolen Rs 72 lakh from the digital locker in the bedroom.
Agam Kumar and his daughter Nikita checked the CCTV footage of their society and saw Rehan leaving with a bag, the police said.
