Ponniyin Selvan emerged as one of the biggest hits of 2022 and received rave reviews with critics praising the effective performances and impressive production values. Its sequel is set to hit the screens on April 28 much to the delight of fans.

In the latest development, the makers have revealed that its trailer will be out next week. Ponniyin Selvan 2 is a period drama, directed by Mani Ratnam. It is produced by the filmmaker and Allirajah Subaskaran under the Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions banners,



respectively.

On Friday, March 24, Madras Talkies took to Twitter to reveal that the official trailer of Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be unveiled on March 29. The banner shared a poster featuring Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
