Pooja Hegde to star in special dance number in Rajinikanth's Coolie: Report

Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming action thriller, Coolie, has been making waves ever since its announcement. Fans are excited about Thalaivar's role and possible cameos. Recently, it was rumoured that the actor Pooja Hegde had been roped in for a special dance number in Coolie.

If the reports are to be believed, then this will be Pooja’s third special song in a film. Her previous dance numbers in Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam and Venkatesh Daggubato's F3 were well-received. Rajinikanth’s Jailer, featured Tamannaah in a special number, which became a massive hit. With Coolie, the makers seem to be attempting a similar formula. While there is no official confirmation yet, the news has already created



excitement among fans.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is an action-packed entertainer revolving around the gold smuggling mafia and is set to showcase the Superstar in a distinct role. The film features an ensemble cast, including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan, and Reba Monica John, while Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is reportedly making a cameo appearance. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The makers of Coolie initially planned for a summer 2025 release, but the schedule was delayed due to Rajinikanth’s health concerns. They are now aiming for an August 2025 release, with an official announcement expected soon.
