Prithviraj and Mohanlal’s ‘L2E - Empuraan’ shoot to begin on October 5

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Lyca Productions have joined forces for the highly anticipated sequel of ’Lucifer’. Featuring Mohanlal, the movie is titled 'L2E - Empuraan'. The film is all set to go on floors from October 5, 2023.

The much-anticipated film 'L2E - Empuraan,' directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, has been officially launched. The announcement was made by the makers on Saturday, September 30, at 5 pm, confirming the start of the project.

The second part of the 'Lucifer' franchise, 'L2E - Empuraan,' is set to begin shooting on October 5.



Prithviraj Sukumaran took to Instagram and shared the news with fans and captioned, "#L2E - Empuraan. It’s an honour for the ‘L’ team to welcome #LycaProductions to the Malayalam Cinema industry. Jointly produced by #AashirvadCinemas and #LycaProductions, the 2nd instalment of the #LUCIFER franchise starts rolling from 5th Oct 2023 (sic)."

Lyca Productions, known for producing films like 'PS-1,' and 'PS-2,' is co-producing the film with a production company from Kerala. A promotional video for the film has also been released. The movie will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
