Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor’s latest film ‘Crew’, that also stars Kriti Sanon and Tabu in the lead, has clocked in great numbers at the box office, proving that it’s no longer difficult for female actors to bring audiences to theatres if the content is gripping. In an exclusive interview , the actor said she is happy about the film's success and the fact that she is a part of two such successes in the recent history of Hindi cinema (first being Veere Di Wedding).

Kareena said, “I feel really happy and proud to be a part of not one, but two super successful women-centric films based on friendship, love and fun. We have seen all our heroes take centre stage doing a road trip or a heist movie, but to have girls do it and the world

watch and laud it, trust me, it is just a different feeling.”

"My roles have always been very strong, from Dev to Chameli to Omkara, Jab We Met, Heroine, Veere Di Wedding, to Jaane Jaan and now Crew. I choose them to be powerful with a message but fun and entertaining at the same time, which the audiences love. I feel today it’s not about hero or heroine, it’s about the content that connects. It’s indeed an interesting time for all actors who are passionate. So grateful to be here at this point after 25 years in the industry.” Kareena concluded.

Crew has received mostly positive reviews from critics and has minted an impressive Rs 50 crore at the ticket counter till now. It released in cinemas on March 29.
