After playfully teasing Australian cricketer David Warner about his Pushpa obsession at the Robinhood event, actor Rajendra Prasad has now apologised and clarified his intentions.

The veteran actor shared a video with the press, apologising and clarifying his bond with David Warner. He explained, “At the Robinhood pre-release event, I unintentionally made a comment about David Warner. You all know me—I never meant it that way. Before the event, we were all having fun together. I even told Nithiin and David that they were like my children.”

Prasad further shared that he and

Warner were playfully teasing each other about venturing into each other's fields before the event. “When he hugged me, I challenged him to prove himself as an actor, and he asked me to prove myself as a cricketer. I admire David Warner and his cricket, just as he loves our films and acting. If my words hurt anyone, I sincerely apologise and promise to be more careful in the future,” he said.

Prasad’s apology came after he playfully mocked the cricketer. He mimicked Warner performing the Srivalli step from Allu Arjun’s iconic film and joked about how he dances more than he plays cricket.
