Rajesh Khattar, who has lent his voice to the character of Rakhtdev in Hotstar’s ‘Bahubali: Crown of Blood’ in an exclusive interview. He spoke about being a voice actor, apart from his on-screen appearances. He also shared that he wants to be a part of ‘Don 3’, despite the fact that his character in ‘Don 2’ had died. He also spoke about Ranveer Singh stepping into the character of Don.

Khattar, speaking about his eagerness to be a part of ‘Don 3, said, “My character in ‘Don 2’ died, but ‘Don 3’ is going to be based in a different era altogether with a totally different storyline. So, it’s quite possible that there can be a chance I can be there too. It’s Bollywood after all, and anything can happen in films. Which is why, I even called Farhan (Akhtar, writer and director) and told him that I wanted to be a part of the project. So, let’s see

now.”

Speaking of Ranveer Singh playing the new Don and being compared to Shah Rukh Khan, Khattar said, “Comparisons are inevitable. When SRK was casted for ‘Don 2’, people compared him to Amitabh Bachchan. Now, when Ranveer has been cast, he’s being compared to Shah Rukh. But, all this doesn’t matter because every plot is different from the other. Mr Bachchan won all our hearts and so did SRK. Which is why, I’m confident that even Ranveer would do a great job. He’s an amazing actor and there’s no doubt that he and Farhan teaming up will create magic.”

Khattar has played pivotal roles in ‘Don 2’, ‘Race 2’ and television series ‘Beyhadh’ where he played the role of Jennifer Winget’s father. He has also dubbed and given his voice to characters played by international actors such as Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, Tony Stark, among others.
