Rajinikanth and Salman Khan to star in Atlee's next: Report

Superstars Rajinikanth and Salman Khan are reportedly in talks to work together for director Atlee's next big actioner. The film is yet to be titled, as per reports.

Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, "Sun Pictures will be producing the film and they share a family-like bond with superstar Rajinikanth. Atlee, on the other hand, has been in touch with Salman Khan for the last two years. They are confident to get both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan on board."

The



meeting is said to take place next month.

According to reports, the makers want the film to be greenlit by this year's end.

"Salman Khan aims to start Atlee film after wrapping up Sikandar. Superstar Rajinikanth, on the other hand, will take this up after Coolie. It is a combination to be remembered for generations," the source added.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3, while Rajinikanth starred in a cameo role in Lal Salaam.
