Rajinikanth gets his second jab of Covid-19 vaccine

Superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday (May 13) received his second dose of the Covishield vaccine. His daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share the photo of her dad getting the jab from a medical professional. The Darbar actor returned to Chennai on May 12 after completing a month-long schedule of his upcoming film, Annaatthe, at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Superstar Rajinikanth is the latest celebrity to



receive the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. A photo, posted by Soundarya, shows Thalaivar getting injected with the vaccine. He can be seen wearing a grey shirt and black joggers. He was accompanied by his daughter Soundarya.

Sharing the photo, Soundarya wrote, "Our Thalaivar gets his vaccine Thumbs up Let us fight and win this war against Corona virus together #ThalaivarVaccinated #TogetherWeCan #MaskOn #StayHomeStaySafe (sic)."
