Rajinikanth's Jailer to release in theatres on April 14, 2023: Report

Rajinikanth is widely regarded as one of Indian cinema's biggest names. The mass hero is loved by many because of his style reel mannerisms and humble personality. Here is some big news for his ardent fans. His upcoming film, Jailer, is reportedly set to hit the screens on Tamil New Year (April 14) next year. This, however, is yet to be confirmed. Jailer is an action-comedy, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.

Rajinikanth, last seen in the actioner Annaatthe (2021), is



shooting for Jailer. The film is directed by Nelson and features Superstar in the role of an authority figure. According to a report, Jailer is likely to hit the screens on April 14, 2023.

"If the shoot concludes as per the schedule chalked out at present, Jailer will be the big Tamil New Year release for Kollywood. The idea is to release on April 14, 2023, and the team is confident that Rajinikanth and Nelson will deliver wholesome entertainment," a source told Pinkvilla.
