Veteran actor Rajinikanth's upcoming film, 'Vettaiyan', will release in October this year. The makers, on Sunday, shared a brand-new poster of the south superstar from the film as they announced its release.
Lyca Productions, which will be distributing 'Vettaiyan', shared the poster featuring a gun-wielding Rajinikanth. "Kuri vechachu. VETTAIYAN is all set to take charge in cinemas this OCTOBER. Get ready to chase down the prey
(sic)", read the full caption of the post.
According to rumours, 'Vettaiyan' is a hard-hitting action entertainer based on a true story. It is said that the actor will play a Muslim police officer in the film.
In an earlier interaction, Rajinikanth said that Gnanavel's 'Vettaiyan' is likely to be wrapped up by the end of March. He will then take a break and move on to director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Thalaivar 171'.
