Rajkumar Rao fractures leg while shooting for reality show

Rao got injured on the sets of reality show Lip Sing Battle in Mumbai on Sunday.

The actor, along with his Bareilly ki Barfi co-star Kriti Sanon was shooting for an episode of the show when he accidentally fell while jumping from a height and suffered fractures in his left ankle.

A source told , "Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon were shooting for an upcoming episode of Lip Sing Battle when the actor injured his leg while performing a stunt." He tweeted to his fans about the incident.

He wrote, "Yes, I broke a leg. Thank u @TheFarahKhan@Patralekhaa 9 4 being d best supprt systm



& sorry @kritisanon & team couldn't finish d show #LipSing." They were shooting at Andheri's YashRaj Film Studios when the mishap happened.

The 33-year-old was immediately rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where his leg was plastered.

He has also shared a photo where he can be seen sitting on the hospital bed with a smile on his face and a plaster on his left leg. Lip Sing Battle show host Farah Khan can be seen sitting beside him in the picture.

Rajkummar has reportedly postponed his shoot commitments for the time being as he has to be on bed rest for a while.
