Ranbir Kapoor, like many other Indians, cheered for team India as they went against New Zealand on November 15 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The actor also made an appearance on the pitch, during the pre-match discussion, to talk about the match and his upcoming movie 'Animal'.
Ranbir Kapoor, along with other Bollywood celebrities including Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, and Vicky Kaushal, among others, was present at the Wankhede Stadium to cheer for team India.
During the pre-match discussion, he spoke about 'Animal'. He said, "Animal is a family crime
drama. It’s about how this character would go to any length to protect his family. It’s kind of similar as to how the country would go to any length to protect our team and to win the cup."
Ranbir also recalled the time when he was at the stadium back during the 2011 World Cup.
Earlier, while talking to PTI, Ranbir said that the film is completely out of his comfort zone. "As an actor, such challenges are important as it really shook me up. It made me work hard, and realise how inadequate I’m and how much I needed to work to reach a certain level", he added.
