Bengali actress Debashree Roy’s mother Arati Roy passed away on November 8. She was 92. She breathed her last due to age-related ailments. Arati Roy is the maternal grandmother of Rani Mukerji.

November 8. The Bengali actress has confirmed the news. Arati Roy was suffering from a prolonged illness. She is survived by her three daughters - Debashree, Purnima and Krishna.

In August 2022, Arati Roy suffered severe injuries after she fell down and injured her forehead. Debashree informed that she had lost a lot of blood.
