Ranveer Singh began shooting for Cirkus with Rohit Shetty in 2020. On November 16, the actor updated his fans that the film's shoot is finally over. Ranveer posted a candid with director Rohit and Varun Sharma from Cirkus sets.

from the film's set, that had Cirkus written in the background. Sharing the same, he wrote, "Shooting khatam, Promotion ki planning shuru! Mass-ter filmmaker ke Mass-ter plans!!! Buahahahaha! @itsrohitshetty @rohitshettypicturez @fukravarun #CirkusThisChristmas (sic)." Varun Sharma, who also shared the frame with Ranveer and Rohit, wrote, "Fullll Powerrrrrr (sic)."
