Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 to hit the theatres on June 4

With the government allowing 100 occupancy in theatres, filmmakers are booking the best slots for their films. The makers of Ranveer Singh-starrer 83 also announced the release date of their much anticipated film. 83 will hit the theatres on June 4. Apart from 83, makers of Shershaah, Jhund, Bell Bottom and others revealed the release dates of their films. Yash Raj Films also announced the release dates of their five big films.

Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to share the release date. 83 will be released in



multiple languages. Revealing the same, Ranveer wrote, "June 4th, 2021 !!!! in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. See you in cinemas !!! #thisis83 (sic)."

83 is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film revolves around India's historic 1983 World Cup win. Legendary cricketer, and at that time captain of the Indian cricket team, Kapil Dev led India to victory. Ranveer will play the role of Kapil Dev in the film. His wife Deepika Padukone will play the role of Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia in the film.
