'Salaar' Part 2 title revealed in film's climax

Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire', directed by Prashanth Neel, was released in theatres on December 22. The action entertainer received a lot of love from critics and fans. In the end credits of 'Salaar', the makers revealed the title of the second part. During the pre-release interviews, director Prashanth Neel said that the second part is yet to be shot and the work will begin later.

It was a conscious decision to release



'Salaar' in two parts. The makers announced it when the film's teaser released earlier this year.

As the end credits of 'Salaar' rolled, fans were in were for a surprise. While Part did not have an end credit scene, the makers chose to reveal the film's title. The second part is titled 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam'. For the uninitiated, Shouryanga is the clan Prabhas belongs to. The second part is about how Prabhas' Deva turns Varadha's (Prithviraj) enemy.
