Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger 3 will reportedly go on floors in March this year. The espionage thriller, which is said to be directed by Maneesh Sharma, was supposed to kick off its first schedule in the UAE. However, the Yash Raj Films' (YRF) venture is expected to now roll in Istanbul, Turkey.

A sudden surge in Covid-19 numbers in the UAE has reportedly led this decision. According to a report in Mid Day, a trade source close to the production revealed, "Having ensured that the pre-production began last December, Adi (Aditya Chopra) wants to begin the film on schedule. Since the

UAE is witnessing a spike in cases, Maneesh and he are discussing the possibility of heading to Istanbul first and wrapping up the required portions with Salman, who has given his bulk dates from March."

It has also been reported that producer Aditya Chopra has sent a part of his unit to Turkey for a quick location recce. Since the third instalment of the blockbuster Tiger franchise is touted to the biggest film of both Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif respectively, the makers are not too keen to delay the schedule and are willing to kickstart shooting for the portions that are not to be shot in the UAE.
