Samantha and Varun Dhawan to film steamy scenes for Citadel India: Reports

Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s Prime Video series, Citadel, is currently on everyone's binge-watch list. Ever since it was announced that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan would be starring in the Indian version of the spy thriller, fans can't keep calm. According to new reports, Samantha and Varun have agreed film steamy scenes for the series.

It was recently revealed that Samantha, who will be starring in Citadel India, has agreed to film intimate scenes with Varun Dhawan for the show, much like the American version. The Indian counterpart of the global series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden is presently in production and is being directed by the filmmaker duo of The Family Man, Raj & DK.

Samantha and Varun have given their



consent for the intimate scenes and have mentioned that they will film the scene as long as it's vital to the series and has a role to play in the story.

Recently, a fan asked Samantha if the series is a remake of the English show. “@samantharuthprabhuoffl I have one question is Priyanka’s Citadel and your Citadel the same story?? Why I am asking is Priyanka dubbed in all Indian languagesâ€æ so if you are doing the same story for Indian audiences then many would have already watched it. I am a bit confusedâ€æ can you clarify if it’s same or different?? BTW (by the way) happy birthday dearâ€æ God bless you!!" one of the fans wrote in the comment section. To this, the Shaakuntalam actress clarified that Citadel India is not a remake. “it is not a REMAKE!!" she replied.
