Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently enjoying the success of Citadel: Honey Bunny. Co-starring Varun Dhawan, Samantha plays a mother, besides being a spy, in the Raj and DK series. Now, in a recent interview, the actor said that she is hopeful about motherhood.
In an interview, Samantha discussed her role as a mother in her recent project and expressed her desire to become a mother in real life. She mentioned that her dreams of entering that phase of life remain unchanged and emphasised that age should not be a barrier to having a child.
Samantha stated, "I don't think it's too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and, yeah, of course, I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother; it's quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a
mother."
Samantha also spoke about working with a child actor in her spy-thriller series, mentioning that it felt like she was interacting with her own daughter. She praised the child actor for being smart, quick to learn, and a good sport.
The actor has also been battling myositis. However, she feels that she is currently in a good phase in her life. Samantha said in the same interview, “I think I'm in a very good phase in life. I'm genuinely very happy and I feel I'm blessed to have the opportunity to live every day to the fullest and I think that I might not have been so grateful for an ordinary day before. But now I am!”
Samantha was married to Naga Chaitanya and the two got divorced in 2021. On the work front, Samantha has projects like Rakt Brahmand and Maa Inti Bangaram in the pipeline. She was last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny.
