Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit to headline opening ceremony of IFFI 2023

The International Film Festival of India is being held in Goa. The ceremony will go on for nine days -- from November 20 to November 28.

And now, it has been highlighted that the opening ceremony will be headlined by Bollywood stars, Madhuri Dixit and Shahid Kapoor.

Besides Shahid and Madhuri, a host of other celebrities will be seen marking their presence at the IFFI Goa, 2023. From Shriya Saran, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Pankaj Tripathi to artistes like Shreya Ghoshal and Sukhwinder Singh will be seen marking their



presence at the festival.

Hindustan Times quoted Madhuri as saying, “Cinema has given me so much, it’s time to give something back in return. What better way to do so than through song and dance, which is integral to not just Indian cinema, but Indian culture as well?”

Shahid will also be performing to his medley and was stated by the publication as saying, "Performing in front of a live audience is something I’ve truly loved ever since I can remember. Thanks to IFFI, I get to do that one more time in Goa."
