Shahid Kapoor-starrer Jersey to hit screens on April 14

Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey, which was scheduled to hit the cinemas on December 31, will now release in theatres on April 14. The film was pushed due to Covid-19. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the sports drama stars Mrunal Thakur opposite Shahid.

Shahid Kapoor’s fans have been eagerly waiting for Jersey. The



film’s trailer shows how Shahid’s character chases his lost dream for his son. After much delay, the film has a new release date. Announcing the update on Twitter, Shahid wrote, “So so happy to announce that our beloved film #Jersey will be releasing worldwide in theatres on the 14th of April 2022. See you in the theatres (sic).”
