Shahid Kapoor to attend a special screening of Padmaavat in Singapore

Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor, who has been appreciated for his role as Maharawal Ratan Singh in 'Padmaavat', has something special planned tomorrow.

The actor will be heading to Singapore for a special screening of the movie. An NGO, Food From The Heart is organising the event. The non-profit charity feeds the hungry through its food distribution programme.

couple Henry and Christine Laimer, the NGO channels surplus food from bakeries to those in need.  A source says “When Shahid got to know that the screening is being organised by an NGO, he instantly agreed to attend it.” The trip will, however, be a short one. Further adding to it Another source confirms the news, “Yes, Shahid is flying to Singapore tonight for the screening tomorrow. He will be there only for a day.
