Shilpa Shetty set to make her comeback with film 'Sukhee'

Shilpa Shetty is making a comeback to the big screen with Sukhee, following a one-year hiatus. The film's trailer was unveiled on Wednesday, September 6, after the unveiling of the movie's posters.

Shilpa Shetty has described the film as 'a story for every woman'. Along with the actress, the movie features Amit Sadh, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Kiran Kumar and Kusha Kapila in key roles.

Sukhee's trailer provides a sneak peek into the life of the titular character, a dedicated homemaker, portrayed by Shetty. The plot thickens when Sukhee



receives an invite to her school reunion and decides to visit Delhi. The movie takes a thrilling turn as Sukhee embarks on an adventure in the capital city.

Shilpa Shetty had earlier shared a video with Kusha Kapila, asking women to prioritise self-care. Sukhee, which marks the directorial debut of Sonal Joshi, is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Shikhaa Sharma. The film holds significance for Shetty as her last two films, Hungama 2 (2021) and Nikamma (2022), did not fare well at the box office. Sukhee is set for release on September 22.
