In her tweet on August 30, Kangana Ranaut demanded security from Himachal Pradesh Police or the Centre as she said that she is 'now more scared of the Mumbai police than the movie mafia.' Kangana's tweet didn't go down well with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and today, at a press conference, Raut said that the actress shouldn't be given much importance.
On August 30, Kangana wrote that she is scared of the Mumbai Police. She wrote, "Thank you for your concern sir, I am actually more scared of Mumbai police now than movie mafia goons, in Mumbai I would need security either from HP government or directly from the Centre, No Mumbai police please (sic)."
When asked about Kangana's tweet, Sanjay said, "We should
know how much importance we should give to a person. If anyone has any information, rather than tweeting about it, they should inform the concerned authorities."
Sanjay's statement also points out at Kangana's earlier tweets, in which she has shown her willingness to help the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to probe the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. In her tweets, the actress had called Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal "cocaine addicts." She had also said that cocaine is the most consumed drug in high-profile Bollywood parties.
The actress has also lashed at Mumbai Police for 'encouraging bullying and crime against her.' She also accused them of bullying and threatening her.
