Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on June 21. However, their little one was born premature and was kept in an incubator. The actor had earlier revealed that his newborn son had been shifted out of the NICU. Taking to his YouTube channel on Saturday, July 15, Shoaib and Dipika revealed the name of their newborn son.

a vlog revealing that they have named their son - Ruhaan Shoaib Ibrahim. The meaning of Ruhaan is kind-hearted and spiritual.

The couple didn't reveal the face of their newborn. In the video, Shoaib says that they had decided on the name just a month after Dipika conceived. They had even thought of a name if they were to have a daughter. Shoaib said, "Madam (Dipika) liked this name Ruhaan. His name was chosen by Dipika. We really liked the name a lot and were sure about it."
