SS Rajamouli's documentary to release on Netflix on August 2

OTT platform Netflix has announced a new documentary on ace director SS Rajamouli, titled Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli. Rajamouli is known for helming global phenomenons such as the Baahubali franchise and the Ram Charan and Jr NTR-starrer, RRR.

The biographical documentary has been bankrolled by Applause Entertainment and Film Companion Studios. It is being helmed by Raghav Khanna.

The makers said in a statement that the documentary will throw spotlight on the filmmaker's filming process, his legacy and more. The docu will also feature an interview with the



director himself as well as his close collaborators and film personalities such as James Cameron, Joe Russo, Karan Johar, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan.

His adventurous spirit and mastery of fantasy and epic genres have left an indelible mark on entertainment-loving audiences globally, breathing life into iconic tales from Indian history and culture,” Monika Shergill, Vice-President Content, Netflix India said in a statement.
