Sunny Deol‘s ‘Gadar 2’ beats Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’

Sunny Deol's latest release, 'Gadar 2', has sped past Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' at the Indian box office, making it the fastest film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark. Continuing its rapid success, 'Gadar 2' is set to reach the historic milestone on its 24th day of release today, September 3.

In comparison, 'Pathaan' took four more days - a total of 28 - to hit the same figure. Even the Hindi version of the hugely popular 'Baahubali 2',



required 34 days to achieve this feat in the domestic market. The INR 500 crore club is thus getting a new entrant in record time. But it isn't just any new entrant. It's '#Gadar2', the #Hindi film now rewriting box office history in India.

The reports come a night after the two actors met at the success bash of 'Gadar 2'. The two were seen hugging each other, thereby solidifying their reunion after the infamous feud post 'Darr's' release in the '90s.
