The Supreme Court is likely to pronounce a judgement on the Sushant Singh Rajput family vs Rhea Chakraborty case, currently sub judice, on Wednesday, August 19. As per sources, the verdict will be out at 11 am tomorrow. This is the fourth and presumably the final hearing in the case. In the first hearing on August 5, the Centre told the SC that they have accepted Bihar government's recommendation to transfer the case to CBI. The second hearing in the case was held on August 7 where all five parties - Sushant Singh Rajput's family, Rhea Chakraborty, Bihar government, Maharashtra government and the CBI argued their points, while the third hearing was on August 13, where they presented their final
submissions before the apex court.
Earlier today, Rhea Chakraborty, in a statement made shocking allegations against Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Priyanka. Rhea alleged that Priyanka once groped her, and since then, her relations with Sushant Singh Rajput's family had soured.
Later in the day, Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer, Vikas Singh, responding to Rhea Chakraborty's statement at a press conference, said that Rhea is basically trying to manipulate the Supreme Court and the presiding judge by cooking up stories. However, Vikas Singh believes that the judges of the Supreme Court are aware of how things work, hence Rhea's attempt to manipulate them won't fly.
