Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, Jana Nayagan, has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. Recent reports suggest that Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play an important role in the film, marking their on-screen reunion after nearly a decade.
According to a report by Indiaglitz Tamil, Shruti Haasan has been signed for a key role and is expected to begin shooting her scenes next week. Vijay and Shruti last shared screen space in Chimbu Deven’s 2015 fantasy adventure film Puli. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, their on-screen chemistry received praise.

anticipation from fans. The film’s title was announced on Republic Day.
Jana Nayagan boasts an ensemble cast, including Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Pooja Hegde, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, and others. Produced by KVN Productions, two first-look posters were released on Republic Day. In one, Vijay is seen clicking a selfie with a massive crowd in the background, while in the other, he recreates one of MGR’s iconic poses.
Jana Nayagan is currently in production, with shoots ongoing in Chennai. The speculated budget of the highly anticipated film is around Rs 300 crore, indicating that the makers of Vijay’s final film are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a lasting cinematic experience. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film.
