The nominations for the 15th edition of The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024 have been announced. Scheduled from August 15 to August 25, the festival will see Shah Rukh Khan competing with actors like Diljit Dosanjh, Vikrant Massey, Fahadh Faasil and others for the Best Actor trophy. Shah Rukh’s two films – Dunki and Jawan – are also nominated in the Best Film category, along with other popular films like 12th Fail, Amar Singh Chamkila, Chandu Champion and more.
Alia Bhatt competes in the Best Actress category with the debutant Alizeh Agnihotri. Other actresses vying for the trophy include Nitanshi Goel, Sanya Malhotra and others. Similarly, the country’s top filmmakers – Imtiaz Ali, Kabir Khan, Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani – are competing for the Best Director trophy.
