Bollywood actor and politician Kangana Ranaut once again took a dig at Bollywood celebrities and their lifestyle. Saying that she can never be friends with any Bollywood celebrity, the actor said that they cannot talk beyond branded bags and cars. Kangana also described her experience of attending Bollywood parties as a "trauma" during a recent interview.

“I am not a Bollywood kind of person. I can’t be friends with Bollywood people for sure,” said Kangana on Raj Shamani’s podcast recently. She added, “They are so full of themselves. They are stupid, dumb and all about protein shakes. I have seen enough Bollywood people to know that.”

Kangana, 38, also criticised the routine and conversations of many in the film industry, labelling them as "grasshoppers" who lack depth and meaningful conversations. Describing the typical daily routine of some Bollywood celebrities, Kangana said, “If they are not shooting, their routine is: wake up in the morning, do some physical training, sleep in the afternoon, wake up, go to the gym and again sleep at night or watch

TV. They’re like grasshoppers, totally blank. How can you be friends with such people?"

She continued, “They have no idea what’s going on where. They have no (meaningful) conversations. They just meet, drink and go, ‘Hey babe, what a bag! Oh my god, I love that bag.’ I would be shocked to find a decent person in Bollywood who can talk beyond branded bags and cars."

Kangana, who is awaiting the release of her film Emergency, further elaborated on her feelings about Bollywood parties, calling them “trauma.”

“The conversations that happen at Bollywood parties are embarrassing,” she said. The actor further mimicked a voice, representing such celebrities who discuss their schedules, body weights, diets, and dating rumours at parties. “It’s trauma... a Bollywood party for me is like trauma,” Kangana added.

The political drama Emergency, helmed and acted by Kangana Ranaut, will release in theatres on September 6. It also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik.
