Through every hardship, there is ease, says AR Rahman's daughter after parents' split

After music maestro AR Rahman and his wife Saira Banu announced separation, their daughter, Raheema Rahman, posted a story about enduring "hardships and ease". Earlier today, she requested privacy for her family via an Instagram post.

Raheema shared a video of snowfall and a scenic view, probably from her house balcony. She quoted a few



"versus to live by". It read: "Through every hardship, there is ease. Your Lord is going to give you and you will be satisfied (sic)."

Earlier, she wrote a post, requesting the family's privacy. "I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be treated with the utmost privacy & respect. Thank you for your consideration (sic)," it read.
